class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>The expectation of missions and evangelism is based on the command Jesus gave the church to <em>\u201cGo therefore and make disciples of all the nations\u201d (Matthew 28:19, NKJV<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Members\u00a0attend a short training course to study the Scriptures concerning the Great Commision to know what it means to \u201cGo\u201d\u00a0in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, appropriate\u00a0conduct, and how to serve with the goal of populating the Kingdom of Heaven.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201c\u00a0. . . and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and<br \/>\nSamaria, and to the end of the earth.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><em>(Acts 1:8b, NKJV)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We are fulfilling the call to witness the love of\u00a0Jesus both locally and internationally.\u00a0\u00a0 Local missions include:\u00a0\u00a0Lake View Terrace,\u00a0Pacoima,\u00a0Palmdale\/Lancaster, Sylmar, and other cities throughout\u00a0the\u00a0San Fernando Valley.\u00a0 International missions include:\u00a0\u00a0Armenia,\u00a0Haiti, Japan,\u00a0Malawi,\u00a0Mexico,\u00a0Sri Lanka,\u00a0Sierra Leon,\u00a0Tonga Islands,\u00a0Uganda and Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160509101927\/http:\/\/www.valleyberean.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/line-insert2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
